Hello. I grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and chose teaching as a career early on in life. I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University (in Georgia) and began with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education (PreK-6th). I have since received my Masters degree in Education with a focus on reading and language arts and a Specialist Educational Degree in K-12 Curriculum and Assessment. This is my fourteenth year teaching, and I love it as much now as I did the first day I stepped into a classroom. I have an amazing and supportive husband, four wonderful stepchildren, a three-year-old baby girl, and a new granddaughter! My hobbies include kayaking, hiking, camping, reading, writing, and playing video games! |
